pleasing and memorable sounds. In the line “and live alone in the
bee-loud glade”. We can see the repeatation of *”I” sound in
‘live’, ‘alone’,’ loud”. Anaphora is the repeatation of a word or
expression at the beginning of successive verses or phrases,
which emphasizes and rein forces the speaker’s desire. For
example “I will arise and go”. Personification, giving human
qualities to non-humans, eg- “cricket sings”, to make things
more lively and familier. Imagery, it appeals to the reader’s
sense, creating a vivid and immensive experience. eg- “Peace
come dropping slow”. Symbolism, where the island of Innisfree
represents the desire for escape and inner peace.
